Sixteen essays were submitted from graduate students and teachers from Universities of Kazakhstan. Essays came from the Aktobe State Pedagogical Institute, the Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi, the Kazakh Humanitarian Law University of Innovation, the Kainar University. Especially active were students and professors of the Eurasian National University named after L.N.Gumilev.Evaluation of the submissions was done by representatives of the UNESCO Almaty Cluster Office, the Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Education and Science Republic of Kazakhstan. Essays were evaluated based on originality and clarity of proposals.
The Cluster Office would like to thank all the authors who submitted their work. Three works were selected by evaluators as exemplary. The esseys of Ms Aykinbaeva Gulden, Mr Suleimenov Erlan, Ms Askerzhanova Dinara will be published in a collection of articles, which UNESCO plans to launch in the second half of 2011.
