Kazakhstan ratified the Convention

On 28 December 2011, Kazakhstan deposited with the Director-General of UNESCO its instrument of ratification of the Convention for the Safeguarding of Intangible Cultural Heritage (adopted in Paris, 17 October 2003). Kazakhstan became the 142nd member Convention.
